13.4 Tons of Aid Delivered – A Milestone for UAid Direct

13.4 Tons of Aid Delivered – A Milestone for UAid Direct
This past month, UAid Direct achieved a remarkable milestone by delivering more than 13.4 tons of essential aid to the people of Ukraine. These deliveries mark a significant step in our ongoing humanitarian efforts as we strive to meet the critical needs of communities across the country. From Balakliya to Nikopol, Kherson to Zaporizhzhia, our teams have been working tirelessly to ensure that aid reaches those who need it most. Now, as winter approaches, we are preparing for the challenges that lie ahead, reorganizing in Kyiv and strategizing for what will be a tough season for many Ukrainians.

Highlights of Our Recent Efforts

  • 13.4 Tons of Aid Delivered: Last month’s aid included vital supplies like food, hygiene products, and medical supplies. These deliveries have been critical in supporting the most vulnerable communities in areas heavily affected by the conflict.
  • Art, Crafts & Puzzle Therapy: In eastern and southern Ukraine, we continue to support women’s and children’s clubs where creative therapy provides a much-needed outlet for healing. These clubs rely on donations of puzzles, painting kits, sewing kits, and coloring books. If you can help supply these items, please get in touch!
  • Mykolaiv Orphanage Reconstruction: The reconstruction of the orphanage for children under 12 in Mykolaiv is progressing well, with final stages expected in the coming weeks. However, we still need further funding to complete the project and give these children a safe place to call home.
  • Documentary by Zachary Tarrant: We are thrilled to announce another outstanding documentary by Zachary Tarrant, which captures the heart of our work in Ukraine. You can watch it here for a closer look at the incredible impact our team is making on the ground.

Preparing for Winter: How You Can Help

With winter on the horizon, our efforts are shifting to meet the growing demand for essential items to help people withstand the harsh weather. From November onwards, we will be focusing on gathering:

  • Generators to provide power in areas where infrastructure remains damaged
  • Winter accessories such as gloves, socks, scarves, and hats
  • Thermoses to help people stay warm
  • Hygiene and sanitary products, which continue to be urgently needed across the east and south of the country

Additionally, we are planning to expand our aid coverage to northern regions, where we anticipate a surge in need as the colder months approach.

Make a Difference Today

At UAid Direct USA, we know that none of this would be possible without the generosity of our supporters.  Your contributions have allowed us to help UAid Direct continue to deliver life-saving aid to communities in Ukraine, and as winter draws closer, your help is more critical than ever.

Please consider donating to help us meet the challenges of the upcoming season. Whether it’s supplying creative kits for children’s therapy clubs, funding the final stages of the Mykolaiv orphanage, or providing warm winter essentials, every contribution makes a difference.

Together, we can continue delivering hope and aid to those in need.
